| Homeland Precious Metals Corp. Receives Permitting Approval
February 8, 2006 Vancouver, British Columbia--Homeland Precious Metals Corp. (OTCBB: HPMEF) is pleased to announce that it has received final approval on its work permits for the upcoming spring drill program on its Montgomery Pass project in Mineral County, Nevada. This drill program will test previously identified targets within the company’s property position of 1620 acres (2.5 sq. miles), and will take place when the weather and terrain conditions become favorable. Along with the drilling program outlined above, HPMEF will continue to evaluate the potential of its entire property position. Additional geologic mapping and geochemical sampling is scheduled to take place in the upcoming field season to further evaluate known targets and identify new areas of mineralization within and along trend of its property position. The Montgomery Pass project is situated near the center of the prolific Walker Lane Trend.
